Tennessee requires two courses to get your real estate license: a 60-Hour Basic Principles of Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course and a 30-Hour Tennessee Course For New Affiliates.
This package is designed to provide you with the full 90 hours of instruction required to be eligible for a Tennessee affiliate broker license.
These courses prepare you for the Tennessee state licensing exam and provide the practical business knowledge and foundation necessary to be a successful real estate affiliate broker in Tennessee. This package also includes the Exam Prep, the Math Handbook, and unlimited access to additional practice exams.

Hours Required By The State: 90 hours
Seat Time: The Tennessee Real Estate Commission requires that all students spend a minimum amount of time engaged in the course content. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for you.

The CE Shop’s Offering: 90 hours
Reporting: Real estate course completions are reported to the TN Real Estate Commission. The state requires schools to report course completions within seven to ten days from the course completion date. Course completions will be reported and posted within this time frame. The 30-hour course will only be reported if the licensee has received a license number. If the student is unlicensed they are required to self-report this course.
Expiration Date of Course: The CE Shop’s Pre-Licensing courses expire one year after the date of purchase. The CE Shop will allow students to purchase a new course at a 50% discount of the current retail price of the new course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in the student’s account.
Pre-Licensing Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a minimum of 75%.
Certificates: Upon completion of the course, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies. Please refer to your license application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate of Completion with your license request. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date of your Certificate of Completion will reflect this.
